Red Brick Design Shop
A design shop hidden in one of the factory buildings? But of course. It's called Red Brick Design Shop and you can find it in the 15th building of the 14|15 BATA INSTITUTE.
Czech fashion and design, Zlín brands, local merch and fresh news from the design scene can be found in the pleasant Red Brick Design Shop Zlín. It has been run by Mirka Szórádová for several years. The name of the shop comes not only from Bata red bricks, but also from the fact that Mirka's great-grandfather owned a brick plant. One of the bricks with his initials is still placed on the counter.
In the Red Brick Design Shop you'll find KAVE sneakers, iconic Playbag bags, elegant clothing by Artigi, Bioga, Modest Apparel and many more. You will be dazzled by jewellery from small brands, accessories, clothes for children, original fragrances and cosmetics.
The Red Brick Design Shop is about slow fashion and leisurely shopping. Mirka Szórádová will give you advice and enough time to try on and decide. The Red Brick Design Shop is located in the 15th building of the factory complex, which is home to the beautifully renovated František Bartoš Regional Library in Zlín. Right next door, in building No 14, you can visit The Bata Principle exhibition by the Museum of South East Moravia in Zlín and exhibitions by the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts. It will keep you entertained for the whole day.
